Every year cost increases put more pressure on your business. Increasing wages, oil prices and inflation make it harder and harder to maintain your cost position.
To maintain or improve your current financial performance you need to put in place innovative ways to reduce your business costs and to counteract creeping upwards costs.
These measures are often referred to as “Performance Improvement.”

“In 2005, Cyrille led a two-month productivity improvement diagnostic on one of our major industrial sites in NSW. During this project, Cyrille worked with about 10 of our internal staff and was responsible for team coordination and on-time delivery of the results.
The team identified initiatives to reduce our production costs in the areas of labour productivity, maintenance practices, energy usage and consumables usage. Each initiative was when quantified and a corresponding action plan put together. All initiatives were then included into an overall action plan for the site to implement.
At the best of our performance in 2006 and despite throughput falling by more than 30%, our unit production costs went down by 10% compared to 2005. This outstanding result was largely the consequence of the successful implementation of the initiatives identified during the diagnostic of 2005.
Cyrille showed throughout this project a good balance of creativity, analytical power, and ability to coach a team that had limited experience in the area of performance improvement. Cyrille was able to crystallise the thinking of the team, develop innovative solutions, and present the findings of the project in a simple way to our senior management.
I strongly recommend Cyrille to any industrial company who wishes to engage into a performance improvement process. “Regional Operations Manager, Business Unit of a Top 50 Australian industrial company
